Through the walls of a high-rise condominium being erected at a construction sight, I began to feel emotional over the replacement of nature with artificiality, and photographed the scene.

I believe that, most likely, my heart wasn’t feeling pain over the vanishing of nature.
It was this instant, now, with time flowing past, whereby these two entities were transposed through the erecting of these walls
And it was this thing, “now,” in which I suddenly felt loneliness and sorrow.
So many things have changed already.
And they will continue to do so. As they are right now.
The cityscape, the landscape, faces, memories.
The scenes that appeared with these walls,
are midpoints during transitions,
and it was these momentary instants, which I wished to record.
